Description: The project required the Construction Management Supervision, Quality Control and Inspections of the Design / Build of the Patient Support Center for the Blood Draw Clinic located within the Veterans Administration Center in West Palm Beach, Fl. Design included eight (8) separately partitioned Blood Draw bays, an entrance to the clinic with automatic doors and a stretcher entry that will comply with ADA requirements, centralized reception check-in, waiting area with 27 seats, Registered Nurse office, open work area for staff, staff training/break room, staff/exam restrooms and public restrooms (ADA compliant), water fountains and bio-hazard storage. Each Blood draw station will be complete with chairs, counters, sinks, undercounter refrigerator and other amenities. The waiting areas will provide comfortable seating, tables, and a flat screen television for patients/visitors while waiting. Vinyl, carpet and tile flooring will be installed in areas to best meet the service needs of the facility. All plumbing, HVAC, fire sprinklers, fire extinguishers and electrical hospital requirements will be complied with. Energy efficiency as well as high aesthetic standards will be included in this Design / Build.
